Join the CMF and Dr. Lane Glenn for this workshop that will help you create change in your office through one of the oldest and most natural forms of communication we know: storytelling. By the end of this program, you will be able to:

  • Describe the "Six Elements of a Good Story";
  • Identify "Who I Am" and "Where We are Going" stories;
  • Create and tell "Who We Are" stories that convey core values, instill pride, and provide directions;
  • Tap into additional storytelling resources for you and your staff; and
  • Use your new storytelling skills and resources to help your Member tell her/his story.

Dr. Lane Glenn, Vice President of Academic Affairs at Northern Essex Community College, is a Facilitator for the International Chair Academy for Leadership Training and Development and a certified Appreciative Inquiry Trainer for Company Experts. As a researcher, author, and consultant for higher education professionals, businesses, and the social sectors, he has produced articles and workshops on topics ranging from behavioral styles and team building, to conflict management, strategic planning, change management, leadership through storytelling, and learning styles in the workplace.
