Join Us December 6 for the Next Advocacy Leaders Network Workshop

This session, "Mobile Advocacy: There's an App for That," is the final of four sessions offered as part of the 2013  Advocacy Leaders Network, a workshop series tailored to senior advocacy, government affairs, and public relations professionals. This session will look at ways to incorporate technology into government advocacy. This series is part of CMF’s Partnership for a More Perfect Union, which seeks to enhance communications, understanding, and the relationship between citizens and Congress.

Program Details

Today it seems like there’s a way to incorporate technology into everything we do. With the increase in popularity of smartphones and tablets, we can take our work—and our fun—with us wherever we go. There’s an app for nearly anything you can imagine, and government advocacy is no exception. How can we leverage mobile technologies, and how will they improve our advocacy experience? In an area where face-to-face communication is emphasized as the key to success, how can an app help us?

Rather than taking away from the personal interactions this Advocacy Leaders Network event will demonstrate how mobile technologies can actually boost recruitment and participation, helping to enhance ‘personal interactions’ and improve the advocacy experience.

When it comes to mobile advocacy, there is definitely an app for that.
