Join the Partnership

The Partnership For A More Perfect Union is a center at CMF for research, problem-solving, and programs designed to improve the representative nature of our democracy.

Those who join the Partnership — as a Premiere Partner, Partner, Associate Partner, or Citizen–Advocate Partner — will not only be helping to improve the relationship and communication between citizens and Members of Congress, you will also enjoy many benefits that will help improve your own communications to Capitol Hill:

  • Regular Events: You will be eligible for reduced-cost registration at Partnership events. Events, such as the Advocacy Leaders Network workshop series, will bring together the best thinking from congressional offices and grassroots advocacy practitioners on congressional–constituent communications.
  • Networking Receptions: You will receive invitations to networking events on Capitol Hill designed to encourage communication and relationship building between the senders (partners) and receivers (congressional offices) of communications.
  • Preview of Research Releases: Those who join the Partnership will be given a first look at cutting edge research before the results are made available to the public.
  • Webinars: You will also receive invitations to regular webinars, where Partnership staff will present the latest research and best practices for civic engagement and advocacy.
  • Access to the Partnership's Speakers Bureau: Our speaker's bureau of experts will offer reduced-cost educational programs on social media, grassroots advocacy, and congressional communications.
  • Recognition and Branding: You will be listed on our website, and will receive a Partnership icon to display on your organization's site, demonstrating your commitment to civic engagement and a healthy democracy.
  • E-newsletters and Periodic Alerts: Up-to-date information will be delivered directly to you, providing data on new trends and best practices in congressional communications.
  • Reduced Cost for Exhibit Space: The Partnership will periodically hold events that provide space for exhibitors, and offer our partners a discount on exhibit space.
  • Discounts for Partnership and CMF Publications: These include the Communicating with Congress research series, Setting Course, Keeping It Local, and the Congressional Intern Handbook.
  • Sponsoring Related Programming: First opportunity to sponsor upcoming research, publications, training and other programs.

The Partnership offers these benefits at four membership levels. Click here for a list of current Partnership supporters.
