Upcoming Event: March 21 Workshop for Freshmen Legislative Staff

Program Overview

You've hired your legislative staff. Your boss knows their committee assignments. They're even starting to have ideas of what they'd like to accomplish! So now what? Come to this briefing and we'll help you to answer that question. Participants will learn how to:

  • Discover legislative tools that you might not know about;
  • Work with committee staff to accomplish your boss' legislative goals; and
  • Utilize resources and trainings available to make you and your team more effective.

In addition to CMF staff who have helped orient new Member offices for decades, senior staff from House offices will be on-hand to answer your questions. Yep! That includes committee staff.
