Partnership FAQs

What services does the Partnership provide?

In seeking to improve the relationship and communication between citizens and Members of Congress, the Partnership For A More Perfect Union seeks to provide both practical and applied research to all of the various stakeholders, as well as training and best practice programs geared toward improving the status quo. Partnership staff conduct training for congressional staff on how the effective set up and manage and an effective constituent communications program, as well as tailored workshops on how to create and administer a strategic communications program.

The Partnership is also involved in helping to create communications standards that will improve the quality and flow of communications to and from Capitol Hill. Partnership staff also provide grassroots organizations and practitioners with tools and guidance on how they can more effectively communicate with Members of Congress.

How can I join?

The Partnership is asking all of those organizations and individuals that have a stake in effective communications to join us as a Partner to help bring about the 'more perfect union' we all desire. The problems that have caused the current breakdown in communication are multifaceted and not one side's fault. We are asking citizens, Members of Congress, grassroots advocacy organizations, grassroots practitioners, academia, the philanthropic community, and technology providers to all join the Partnership to help ensure that citizens voices can be heard effectively in the policy making process.
