Apr. 21: Congressional Management Foundation Bestows Coveted Gold Mouse Awards to Best Member Web Sites during 1st Annual Reception

WHAT: The Gold Mouse Awards for the 111th Congress will be unveiled during the first ever gala event to celebrate Capitol Hill’s successes in the era of Web 2.0. Since 2002, the Congressional Management Foundation (CMF) has evaluated Web sites on Capitol Hill in an effort to improve their electronic communications and services to constituents. CMF will present over 100 congressional offices and committees with a Mouse Award.

WHY: Recognizing the best of the best, the Gold Mouse Awards are determined through a comprehensive evaluation of the quality of 620 congressional Web sites, including those of all Senate and House Members and Delegates, committees, and official leadership sites as part of CMF’s Gold Mouse Project. The Gold Mouse Project is conducted in conjunction with the Harvard Kennedy School, University of California-Riverside, and the Ohio State University.
